Cross Country Practice

GO! Mrs Nua said as we started our cross country practice.Running with the boys trying to keep in front,then I see people overtaking me as we got the the bend of the car park.

I reached the gate at a slow pace.I turned around and ran back to school heading back I started walking and people were overtaking me,then I heard someone saying RUN!! SAMSON RRUUNN!!,and so I ran.

I got to the finish exhausted and thirsty.dying for water I walked to the tap and had a drink and I was off to class.

Sarah Walker

As the BMX riders got ready I was keeping my eye on Sarah Walker in the white and black representing New Zealand. As the bars go down the racers sprint trying to overtake their opponents.

I was shouting  “GO SARAH” As she was leading the pack, everyone shouting for their favourite rider and country.As Sarah was on the home strech she was over taken.

The race was intense but sadly she placed 2nd.But New Zealand and her family and also her hometown Whakatane are very Proud of her.Sarah walker is my favourite BMX rider.

My Acrostic Poem

Only fit and strong people go to the Olympics.
Long sprints running as fast as we can trying to finish first.
YAHOO!!I finished the race.
Many people try hard to get in the olympics training all-day.
Practice makes perfect.
Its really intense in the olympics because you don't know you how fast or strong the people you are competing against.
Cycling in the triathlon.
Swimming

Getting a gold medal for placing first.
Athletes train hard day and night.
Many people watching around the world live and on t.v.
Estimating who will win every event
Seeing one or more people from your country win a gold

Tyson Gay is my inspiration.

Tyson Gay was born in U.S.A on August 9 1982 in a city called Lexington, Kentucky. He is my inspiration  because he trained hard on the track and field. Guess what? He beat Usain Bolt, and he had a personal best at the 100m sprint he got the time of 9.69.

He competes in the 100 meter and 200 meter sprints, in the olympics he represents America, at the 2008 olympic trials  he suffered a major hamstring injury,Tyson gay is regularly tested to ensure that his body is good of performance.

He is a three time U.S.A world champ in the 100 meter sprint,his performance of 9.71 seconds in the 100 meter race.Tyson gay was inspired by his mother, he took every opportunity to race. He trained at school and on near hills. Tyson Gay inspires me to train hard and to never give up.

“When Is The Right time to swear?”

The right time to swear is never just as long as you don’t say it in public. Our class has been reading two articles about a town just out of Boston which have voted that if you swear in public you would get a 20$ fine, they voted for this to be approved in a town meeting.

Sometimes when your angry it's hard to hold back the swearing. I think that there is no reason to swear because it is a profanity. In some contries they have banned swearing in public, just like boston.

Swearing in public is bad because when there are little kids around you they might copy you.People swear because they get angry of they are just stressed

Humans On Mars By 2023

A new space venture out of the netherlands planned to put four humans on Mars by the year of 2023.The plan is complex and it involves companies from around the world,the companies will come together and help with the right supplies for the colony such as life support.

Mars one is the company that claims that humans will be on mars by the year 2023.The four humans will work and live on mars.Time by time Mars one will be putting humans on Mars by 2023.

Technology Tamaki College

Every monday last year we had tech at tamaki college we had to do subjects for half an hour,our subjects were Woodwork,Food,Electronics,Graphics and Science.This year we have a new subject japanese,the teacher for japanese is Sensei ishibashi,we learnt basic japanese words like hello is Ohayo and if you say to a adult you have to say ohayo gozimas.and the months,numbers,origami.It was really fun at Japanese.now we go to tamaki every Thursday.   

If I had to do it again I would.
